This recipe appears to be similar to a Cherry Pie Lara Bar, and while it is high in calories, I can still eat one on occasion, and I am a type 2 diabetic. I’m going to try this recipe.

It is high in sugars-cabs. Even though they are natural occurring. I will add some plant based protein powder, ground flaxseed and maybe some coconut or almond flour.

Remember this is all natural ingredients with natural fiber. Real food is good for every body – moderation is key. Far better than fake sugars that are encouraged by the American Diabetic Association. Just sayin’
