Real Learners – Web Design & Development

Web design and development for Real Learners who produce English as an Additional Language (EAL) resources for schools. 

Real Learners produce English as an Additional Language (EAL) resources for schools to help promote good teaching and learning. Pupils starting schools with very little, or no English particularly benefit from these resources. Real Learners teaches beginners of English right through to children who are advanced bilingual learners. Founded by Dr Justine Dakin, the company provides a wealth of products, teaching resources, training, and advice to help pupils learn English quickly.

Real Learners is all about learning, and so we incorporated the same idea throughout their website. A major part of incorporating learning on the website was including an online portal with downable teaching resources for guided language activities. With a vast library of resources, we used a WordPress framework that allowed us to include the online portal directly on the website. We were also able to incorporate a registration form for downloading the resources allowing for better customer management and support.

Alongside the free downloadable teaching resources, we also worked on developing an online shop for quick and easy ordering for organisations and schools. We also provided company information about Real Learners alongside contact facilities. The modern web design we used for the site reflected the brand to create consistency and alignment with the brand.
