Eurobarometer survey shows that traineeships help young people land their first job
A new Eurobarometer survey shows that traineeships are an important stepping stone for young people into the labour market. A clear majority of young Europeans (76%) participating in the survey overall agree, that they learnt things that are useful professionally during their traineeship.

Commissioner Schmit to participate in the kick-off of the EU-OECD Youth Entrepreneurship Policy Academy

ESF+ project in Greece helps unemployed young people to master digital skills
The “Work Experience Acquisition Programme” – funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) - trains unemployed young people aged 18–29 in digital tools, providing them with a pathway to exciting career opportunities. This helps young in matching employers' need for people with digital skills – particularly digital marketing.
