A massive shoutout to Colombia Tech Week—what an incredible experience! 👏🏽
Last week, this amazing group of people (Laura, Nicolás, Maria José, Daniel, ◽️Andres, Tomas, Alejandro & team) hosted the first and largest gathering of Colombia's technology and innovation ecosystem.
With over 150 events across 3 cities (Bogotá, Cali, and Barranquilla) and more than 20,000 attendees, it was a phenomenal success. 🎊
From our early conversations during Miami Tech Month, it’s truly inspiring to see how a determined group of friends turned an idea into reality and impacted thousands.
I’m immensely grateful to all the founders, developers, entrepreneurs, investors, community and ecosystem builders I had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for your hospitality and for being so welcoming!
I also appreciate the support of our partners and speakers at Startup Grind, which allowed us to host 9 events with StartUp Grind Bogotá and 7 events in partnership with SquadS Ventures. A big shoutout as well to Eje Cafetero Tech Week for their excellent work the week before.
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliant minds, teams, and members of SG Bogotá, Milia, and WorkSpace | Un lugar en movimiento, as well as all the organizers, companies, and wonderful colleagues who contributed to this milestone for the tech ecosystem.
It was fantastic catching up with old friends and and witness the power of community within the corporate world. The support and collaboration we had really show just how much we can accomplish when we come together.
A special thanks to María Paula Ramirez for joining me on this journey and for embodying the values of Startup Grind (Give First, Make Friends, and Help Others). This is the era for communities, and our Latam ecosystem is definitely raising the bar.⚡
I can’t wait for all the upcoming Tech Weeks, especially next year’s Ecuador Tech Week! 🤘🏽
See you again next year, Colombia! 🚀 #keepgrinding
