This is a space lover's delight. Situated in Maharashtra's Buldhana district, the Lonar Lake was formed after a meteorite hit the surface 570,000 ± 47,000 years, according to a research paper published in 2010. The alkaline water is home to different types of microbes that changed the pigmentation of the lake to pink colour. The pretty, pink lake surrounded by greenery is a visual treat!
