Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 11.47 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.72 crore), ITI Ltd(number of shares traded: 3.50 crore), Ibull Real Estate(number of shares traded: 3.29 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 2.41 crore), Zee Ent.(number of shares traded: 2.19 crore), Easy Trip Planners(number of shares traded: 2.13 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 1.93 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.52 crore) and ONGC(number of shares traded: 1.41 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:15AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 126.96 points down at 23580.95, while BSE Sensex was 446.73 points at 77752.38 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.72 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.68 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.63 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.96 per cent), Trent Ltd.(down 2.90 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 2.11 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.10 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.98 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
