Joe Biden dropped out of the US election 2024 race after a dismal performance against Trump during the first Presidential debate of the 2024 election season. There were calls from within the Democratic Party to replace Biden which ultimately happened when Biden stepped out of the race and Kamala Harris was given the party ticket instead.

However, Biden has now claimed that if this would not have happened, he would have ultimately emerged victorious. However, it must be remembered that at the time, he had endorsed Harris himself during the Democratic National Convention 2024, where she officially became the Presidential candidate.
