It’s time for our annual gala! 🎉 Earlier this month, we brought our Connecto family together for a night to remember - our annual gala. 👉🏼 On January 17th, our tradition continued as 390 employees and their loved ones gathered for the biggest annual gala ever. It was a night filled with joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes our team special. The evening featured shining hosts, an incredible performance by Marju Länik, and plenty of time to reflect on what we achieved in 2024. We also took the opportunity to honor employees who’ve been part of our journey through all our transformations. The Sopi-Tootsi renewable energy site is now the largest in the Baltics, combining wind and solar energy to power a sustainable future. 🙌🏽 👉🏼 At the end of last year, all 38 wind turbines at the Sopi-Tootsi wind park started operating. With a capacity of 255 MW for wind and 74 MW for solar, this remarkable site can generate nearly 700 GWh of electricity annually at full capacity. Here’s how we helped make it happen: • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 - Installed cable, communication, and grounding networks. • 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 - Designed, constructed, tested, and commissioned the entire park’s electrical infrastructure, including a 330/33 kV substation, turbine communication and grounding networks and 147 km of power cables. • 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗶 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - Built two new 330 kV connection bays, reconstructed two bays, and updated security and automation systems for seamless integration. Working alongside Verston Eesti and Nordecon Betoon, under Enefit Green's order, we completed the work ahead of schedule. Sopi-Tootsi stands as a modern symbol of renewable energy in Pärnumaa. ❓ What’s the key to successful project management in diverse fields? We truly believe in continuously improving our project management quality. That’s why we recently organized a development program for our project managers. 📚 👉🏼 Over three days, participants refreshed their skills, gained new insights, and honed their communication competencies. Our project managers work across Estonia, leading a wide variety of projects in different fields. → One of the key goals of this program was to spark discussions and foster experience-sharing among them. This exchange of ideas enriched the learning experience and brought new perspectives to their work. 💡 The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Participants praised the program and showed great interest in continuing such initiatives.
