👏 Congratulations to the wonderful Visa "She's Next" program finalists and winners from the Baltics - 6 women-owned businesses that were awarded 10 000 euro grants each and one year of personal business coaching. We are proud to support such a program alongside VISA and celebrate female entrepreneurship. 💜 This year, PLŪKT, Nordic herbal tea brand, and soil mixture company Nordspring run by Liāna Kažmere (FOR MY PLANTS) are winners of grant in Latvia. Meanwhile Tabula Rasa, a platform dedicated for teachers, and a communication games project dedicated for people to improve their communication skills and deepen their relationships - Pokalbių gidas - will be receiving the grant in Lithuania. Estonian companies - Beebiuni unenõustamine, a platform to provide infant and toddler sleep consulting, and a bookstore for used books REaD - are the grant recipients as well. Best of luck to these female entrepreneurs in their next big steps! 🤝 "She's Next" has been operating since 2020, and so far 18 women-led companies in the Nordic and Baltic countries have received funding and support for training. Luminor is proud to support this initiative. Gita Juršāne Ausrine Minciene

🎙 Luminor Bank's Head of Sustainability, Kadri Vunder Fontana, shared valuable insights as a panelist at the Northern Roots Forum's session on Transition Finance for Agriculture in Tallinn last week. The Northern Roots Forum is a leading event dedicated to promoting regenerative agriculture practices in the Nordic and Baltic regions. This year's edition brought together farmers, experts, and industry stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in transitioning towards more sustainable, climate-resilient food production and enhanced profitability operations. 🍏 Kadri's participation in the financing panel highlighted the role that financial institutions must play in supporting this transition. Further she explained how the banks perceive that transitioning to regenerative agriculture practices reduces the farmers exposure to climate risks and makes them more resilient. The discussion explored collaborative solutions to address the main barriers and challenges faced by farmers, such as: 🌱 Establishing a dedicated risk fund in collaboration with the government and the financial institutions to provide support against climate risks that are increasingly becoming uninsurable. 🌱 Establishment of a local business case to illustrate, to what extent the improved profitability equation is also valid in the Baltic region. 🌱Facilitating knowledge exchange between banks and pioneering regenerative farmers to identify effective support measures. As the financial sector increasingly recognizes the urgency of addressing climate change, forums like Northern Roots provide a valuable platform to foster cross-industry collaboration and drive real progress in sustainable food systems. Luminor's involvement underscores the bank's commitment to empowering local agricultural enterprises to become more resilient and profitable through the transition to regenerative practices.

Let's meet Laura Kuusk who has been with Luminor Group for 5 years! 🎉 ❓How does it feel to celebrate 5 years at Luminor? I’m very proud to have been part of the Luminor team all these years. Looking back at the past five years, there have been many challenges along the way, but I’m grateful for the lessons they’ve taught me. I’m very happy with where I am today. 😊 ❓ What has your journey at Luminor been like? I started working at Luminor in 2019 as an Administrator, where my main tasks involved supporting the board members and credit committees. Later, I moved to the Customer Experience team and worked as a Customer Experience Specialist. For the past three years, I’ve been working as a Customer Experience Analyst, analyzing customer complaints and NPS feedback to implement improvements and enhance the customer experience at Luminor. ❓ What has been your greatest achievement during your career here? I hope the biggest achievements are still ahead of me, but if I had to choose one so far, it would be finding a new partner for Luminor’s Mystery Shopping project. It was a very long and intense process, but as a result, we partnered with one of the leading companies in this field! ❓ Which moments have stood out most clearly in your memory? Over the years, there have been many memorable moments, so it’s hard to choose just one. Some of my favorite moments are always when the entire Estonian Customer Experience team comes together. ❤️ ❓What motivates you to continue growing with Luminor? I’ve had very supportive teams and leaders. Luminor as an employer has created opportunities for me to grow and develop professionally. ❓ What advice would you give to new employees at Luminor? There’s a lot to learn in the beginning, but persistence opens up opportunities to grow professionally at Luminor very quickly. ❤️ Thank you, Laura for being with us! #LuminorPeople #JoinLuminor #Proud

💜 We continue sharing our people's stories with Luminor Group, and let's meet Aiga Kube, who has been with us for more than 25 years! 👏 ❓ How does it feel to be celebrating this milestone with Luminor? I clearly remember my first day at work, and it feels like it was just recently! Only when I draw parallels between the time spent working at the bank and my personal life do I realize how significant this period has been. When I started my job at the bank, my son was beginning first grade. Now, I am already a grandmother! ❓ Can you tell us about your journey with the company so far? Throughout these years, I have worked in various positions in active sales within the personal customer segment. The greatest benefit of this journey has been the people I’ve met—clients, talented and inspiring colleagues, and charismatic leaders. ❓ What has been your proudest achievement during your time here? My proudest achievement: being named Employee of the Year in 2016! Thank you to the clients for your appreciation! With many clients, we have established long-term relationships. I value that clients still call, want to have a conversation, and seek advice before making serious decisions. Just recently, a client called and said: "Whenever I think of Luminor, you immediately come to mind!" ❓ What motivates you to continue growing with Luminor? What motivates me to grow with Luminor are challenges, the opportunity to work alongside professional colleagues, and engaging in meaningful work with added value. ❓ If you could give one piece of advice to new employees, what would it be? Be ready to embrace challenges! (And love your customers!) Thank you, Aiga for being with us! 💜 #LuminorPeople #JoinLuminor #Proud #YesYouCan
