-Aviation Club is a Student-to-Student Organization, based in Faculty of Engineering Ain-shams University. -It was founded in 2011 and organized by students from all majors. -Our Scope is to cover practical, theoretical Training and research abilities in Aviation field. -Aviation is one of the leading associations in Universities that mainly concentrates on the aviation field.     🚀Workshop Completion Announcement🚀 I am thrilled to share with you that I have completed Aviation CLUB EG's MATLAB workshop for summer 2024! The workshop mainly addressed MATLAB-essentials topics, including: 📌 Getting familiar with the MATLAB interface and its shortcuts 📌 Writing programs with MATLAB coding 📌 Learning about built-in functions and creating functions from scratch 📌 Plotting and styling the plots 📌 Getting started with Simulink and simulating electrical circuits 📌 Signing up on GitHub and creating repositories for uploading MATLAB assignments Endeavoring through seven sessions, we finished the workshop with a digital communication system project. 📡 Here's a demonstration of the code's main idea, that runs a 3-level system: Transmitter TX, Signals Channel, and Receiver RX. >>The transmitter randomly generates a Unipolar Non-return-to-zero (NRZ) digital signal, travelling towards the receiver through a channel where it gets overwhelmed by noise, varying in its degree according to a factor assigned to it. The now-attenuated signal finally arrives at the receiver, where it then gets filtered from the noise completely. However, RX does not necessarily give out the original awaited signal at the output terminal, depending on how high the noise factor was. That led us to calculate the bit error rate (BER) to identify how many bits of the final signal don't match the original ones. 📎Check out our code and circuitry that is capable of executing this idea in the attached photos down below! -Key highlights: </> I learned how to showcase a coding document in a more readable way. 📄 </> I also learnt how it makes coding easier to adopt an organized mindset while writing lines of code from scratch, manifesting the skill of 'problem-solving'. 📝 </> I had numerous hands-on assignments and quizzes that helped me ingest what was being explained. 💻 </> I obtained the certification of completion of the self-paced MATLAB OnRamp course as well, as a task during the workshop. 📜 Special thanks to all of the workshop instructors Abdullah Mohamed, Mennatallah Shaheen, and omar hossam for their unwavering support.     Junior ECE Student at Ain Shams University

    🎉 Excited to announce that I’ve successfully completed a MATLAB workshop at the Aviation CLUB EG under the guidance of our instructor, Abdullah Mohamed! 🚀 Ending the workshop, By working on a TX-RX simulation project using random noise. The project involved Unipolar NRZ transmission, simulating noise during transmission, and decoding the received signal. Project highlights: -No. of bits: 10,000 -Voltage levels: Vcc = 1.2V, GND = 0V -Implemented the transmission (TX) and reception (RX) of data using MATLAB. -Simulated the effect of random noise on the transmitted signal. -Calculated the Bit Error Probability (BEP) to assess transmission accuracy under noise conditions. What makes this journey truly special is starting with basic MATLAB knowledge and progressing to a level where I not only coded the project but also implemented it in Simulink. From writing the simulation in code to building the system visually in Simulink, it's been an incredible learning curve. This hands-on experience has enriched my understanding of signal processing, noise simulation, and error detection in communication systems.     I am happy to share that I have completed the Arduino workshop with Aviation CLUB EG, where I worked on a Line Follower Robot project with my teammates: Lana Eltambouly, Alaa Ehab, Abdullah and Abdelrahman, achieving the Best Project! Our robot included several features, such as: - Ultrasonic sensor to stop if it detects an obstacle. - Switch to turn it on and off. The robot traces the line using LDR sensors (in simulation) and IR sensors (in hardware). Looking forward to apply the knowledge and skills I have acquired in future projects.

    Alhamdulilah, here’s to a baby step🎉 I am glad to share that I’ve completed my Arduino Workshop at Aviation CLUB EG where l‘ve worked on a “line follower car” project in hardware and using tinckercad too . In collaboration with my team I gained teamwork skills and leadership techniques. And guess what hitting the best project!🥇which can follow the track using (ldrs) in simulation, (ir sensors) in hardware Also we added some features like: •an (ultrasonic sensor) to stop if an obstacle’s observed •switch to shutdown motors Can’t wait to apply all the experience I’ve gained using arduino more and more. #arduino #robots #workshops
