The grand opening was nothing short of fantastic! Alex Giolo, our CEO, delivered an inspiring speech, setting the tone for the day's celebrations. Lina Blin, the French Consul in Alexandria, delivered an inspiring speech full of support to the project & the purpose of Decathlon in Egypt. Ibrahim Helal, our Retail Region Leader & Abdelrahman Ahmed our expansion manager shared their vision for Decathlon's growth in Alexandria, highlighting our commitment to promoting an active lifestyle. Amr Abdel Moneim, our dedicated Store Leader, showcased the store's offerings and services, ensuring a memorable shopping experience for all sports enthusiasts. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our newest store at District 5 in New Cairo, This store spans across 800 square meters to serve the vibrant community in East Cairo with all their sporting needs offering more than 35 sports under one roof. The opening ceremony was nothing short of spectacular, with esteemed guests including the French Ambassador, Mr. Eric Chevallier, and a team from Embassy of France in Egypt gracing the occasion with Alice Régnier, Alexandra LAMOTTE, Adrian Guillot, siham soulaimani & Anaïs Boitiere. In addition to their presence, we were honored to host a plethora of invitees and partners from the sports industry, sport community, and business community, all coming together to celebrate this milestone with us.
