We are excited to announce that the Egyptian Computer Science and Engineering Association (ECSEA) is looking for dedicated and passionate mentors to join our team. About ECSEA: ECSEA is a pioneering non-profit organization aimed at fostering innovation and excellence in computer science and engineering within Egypt and the MENA region. Our mission is to make a new generation of Researchers and Tech-Leaders so they can compete with their peers in the top school by providing them with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed and being able to catch the research opportunities in the US (Research Internship in US labs, MSc, and PhD!). About the Tech Scholars Accelerator and Incubator (TSAI) Program: ECSEA will launch the TSAI program next fall , the first academic accelerator and incubator in Egypt!! designed to provide aspiring undergraduate researchers with valuable research experience and guidance in preparing strong applications for global academic opportunities (Research internships, MSc, and PhD programs). Your Role as a Mentor: - Joining us in Building ECSEA a community of the Brilliants in CS & CE fields. - Guidance: Provide personalized mentorship and support to students working on research projects aligned with their academic interests. - Application Assistance: Help students with personal statements, CVs, and identifying suitable programs. - Community Building: Participate in regular seminars and networking events to foster a supportive community. - working on real research projects with your colleagues (founding members). If you are passionate about making a difference and contributing to the future of technology in Egypt, we would love to have you on board! Requirements : the mentor should be: - PhD studnet or MSc student in his/her second year with a good research record. - pursuing his/her graduate studies in a reputable university in the US or Europe. - passion for making a new generations of Computer scientists and engineers. Announcement for all Computer Science and Engineering Students! we are thrilled to share some exciting news with all of you. since few weeks we have decided to establish a new research Based Association ( the Egyptian Computer Science and Engineering Association (ECSEA)), a pioneering organization dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence in computer science and engineering in Egypt and the MENA region and our mission is to empower Egyptian students to be the scholars and the tech-leaders in the future. Today we are happy to introduce the first program we will offer in ECSEA: " Tech Scholars Accelerator and Incubator (TSAI) Program!" The TSAI program, Egypt's first academic accelerator and incubator, is designed to provide aspiring Egyptian undergraduate researchers with invaluable research experience and guidance. Our aim is to help students prepare strong applications for global research and academic opportunities, including research internships, MSc, and PhD programs. it will include: - Real Life Research Projects: Students will be paired with experienced mentors from top universities worldwide (Stanford, NYU, TUM, Williams College, MBZUAI, Waterloo, etc.) and assigned research projects aligned with their academic interests and connected also o industry challenges. - Application Guidance: Personalized guidance during the application process, particularly for US programs, including assistance with personal statements, CVs, and identifying suitable programs. - Seminars and Community Building: Regular seminars to network, share research progress, and build a supportive community. - Specialized Courses: Access to specialized courses in the student’s selected focus area.
