The visit included a meeting with His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of #Rwanda, and the esteemed members of his cabinet and has been convened by kENUP Africa foundation. Additional meetings that highlighted Rwanda's increasingly important role in the regional healthcare landscape were held with His Excellency Dr. @Sabin Nsanzimana, Rwanda's Minister of Health; Dr. Yvan Butera, Minister of State for Health; Prof. Emile Bienvenu, Director-General of Rwanda FDA; Juliana K. Muganza, Deputy CEO of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB); Michelle Umurungi, Chief Investment Officer at the Rwanda Development Board; and Ambassador @Heike Uta Dettmann of the @German Embassy in Rwanda. Khalil Bin Salama, and the presence of the Deputy Minister of Industry & Mineral Resources, the Undersecretary to the Minister for Industrial Development, the Advisor to the Minister of Industry & Mineral Resources, and the Egyptian Drug Authority officials. The visit started with an overview of Minapharm’s 65 years’ legacy in the #Pharmaceutical industry and its leading 25-year Journey in the #Biotech industry from the biological drug substance #development up to #commercialization of advanced #biologics. This was followed by an in-depth #tour at Minapharm’s newest biological #facility, the largest end-to-end #biomanufacturing facility in #Egypt and the #region.
