SIAC is proud of its projects in the power sector. A notable landmark in Behera Governorate is Al-Mahmoudiya Thermal Power Plant. This plant was part of the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity's emergency plan. Our scope of works included civil works for the power plant that consists of two turbines (168 MW each), a control and GIS building, related service buildings, and an administration building. Despite the poor soil conditions that required installing more than 500 piles, the project team successfully completed the project and connected the plant to the main grid in just five months! Our project is El Mostakbal City Potable Water and Irrigation Tanks and their Pump Stations. The project was a turnkey construction. Scope of works included all civil, architectural finishing, electromechanical, infrastructure, landscape, and road works.
