We offer transformative solutions to build better lives.

نبذة عنا

The United Nations Development Programme works in nearly 170 countries and territories, helping to achieve the eradication of poverty, and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. We help countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities and build resilience in order to sustain development results. In Egypt, UNDP has supported the Government for more than 50 years, in an effort that has placed the office as the partner of choice. UNDP offers global perspective combined with local insights on Egypt’s development priorities. Technical assistance, policy advice, and capacity building of institutions are some of UNDP's key services. Delighted to share a new milestone in UNDPs partnership with #Egypt. In over two decades of collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, we have supported the establishment of 27 legal aid offices and the modernization of 27 dispute resolution centers, improving access to justice for thousands of people and families, especially women. Today, we marked a new chapter with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Justice and the launch of a report assessing gender and human rights in legal aid offices. This joint commitment aims to strengthen legal services across Egypt and ensure fairness and accessibility for all. A special thanks to H.E. Minister Adnan El-Fangary and his team for their leadership and commitment to foster this partnership and build on years of collaboration.
