Delighted to share a new milestone in UNDPs partnership with #Egypt. In over two decades of collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, we have supported the establishment of 27 legal aid offices and the modernization of 27 dispute resolution centers, improving access to justice for thousands of people and families, especially women. Today, we marked a new chapter with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Justice and the launch of a report assessing gender and human rights in legal aid offices. This joint commitment aims to strengthen legal services across Egypt and ensure fairness and accessibility for all. A special thanks to H.E. Minister Adnan El-Fangary and his team for their leadership and commitment to foster this partnership and build on years of collaboration.

By integrating international environmental standards, this project ensures safer waste disposal while reducing harmful emissions. The Suez facility is scheduled to be operational in 2025 and will set a new standard for medical waste management in Egypt and the region. It will play an important role in ensuring the safe and sustainable handling of hazardous materials and contribute to strengthening healthcare systems and environmental protection.
