🌿 Paving the way for innovative solutions to secure a brighter, greener future for #Egypt. 🌿 The 2nd Net Zero Conference brought together government officials, industry leaders, academia, and civil society organizations to advance the transition to a low-carbon economy. Organized by the Egypt Green Building Council (Egypt GBC) and USAID Business Egypt, the conference was held in collaboration with the AUC Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Nile University. This gathering encouraged meaningful dialogue and partnerships to accelerate Egypt’s journey toward sustainability. A special highlight of the conference was the inspiring opening remarks by Sean Jones, Mission Director of USAID Egypt, who said “The U.S. government is proud to stand with Egypt and the Egyptian Green Building Council as it strives to build a more resilient future—one that creates sustainable jobs, inspires behavior changes, fosters innovation and new engineering solutions, and ensures that we continue to challenge ourselves to be more responsible global citizens.” #NetZero #Sustainability #GreenEconomy

USAID Business Egypt Partners with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank - Egypt to Advance Sustainable Financing 🌱 USAID Business Egypt has signed a Letter of Collaboration with ADCB Egypt. This partnership aims to enhance sustainable financing solutions by building capacities and developing green products tailored for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Leveraging the expertise of Business Egypt, ADCB Egypt will deliver targeted training and support to elevate sustainable financing mechanisms and investment practices, reinforcing our shared vision of a greener, more resilient economy. On October 30, 2024, we celebrated the signing of our agreement with Chefaa, marking an important step toward empowering 250 pharmacies with digital solutions. This initiative will enable pharmacies to better serve their communities through digital procurement, e-pharmacy tools, and improved logistics. Yomna Mustafa, Chief of Party, USAID Business Egypt, and Chefaa's CEO, Doaa Aref, signed the agreement marking a significant milestone in our collaboration. The ceremony was attended by Chefaa's top management team and representatives from USAID Business Egypt, showcasing the strong collaboration behind this initiative. We were honored to have representatives from Flat6Labs, who joined us in celebrating this milestone and witnessing our journey to advance healthcare accessibility in #Egypt.
