The Lifting Coach is responsible for guiding and coaching individuals in the daily lifting activities in a safe and effective way. This role involves creating plans for lifting operations, providing hands-on instruction and ensuring the safety of individuals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Lifting Coaching and Planning
Relevant certifications (e.g., APLO, LEEA/PIE – LEG - OCE) are required
Fluent written and spoken English
Leadership & Communication Skills
Key Responsibilities:
Create and design lifting plans for lifting operations.
Ensure that all risks associated with lifting activities are identified, recorded, assessed, and effectively managed.
Document all identified corrective actions and monitor their resolution.
Generate necessary reports pertaining to lifting equipment and its accessories.
Ensure that all equipment utilized in lifting operations complies with international industry standards as well as local rules and regulations.
Conduct training and awareness sessions for internal and external customers engaged in lifting activities as per the established plan.
Acquaint operational teams with the relevant procedures and work instructions to guarantee the complete execution of lifting procedures.
Suggest training and awareness initiatives.
Perform audits and inspections on lifting equipment.
Collaborate with the HSE department and take the lead in developing lifting plans and procedures.
Ensure the thorough implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems and protocols.
