PoGo Charge and LCP expand UK EV charging network with four new sites
The UK’s charging network continues to grow, with PoGo Charge launching four new EV charging sites. This expansion adds 20 ultra-rapid charging points to the country’s infrastructure. It’s a continuation of the charge point operator’s (CPO’s) lucrative partnership with LCP.
The new charging sites are live across the UK. The Moor Centre in Brierley Hill, and the Mid-Kent Shopping Centre in Maidstone now feature eight ultra-rapid charging points each.
In St Helens, the Store Car Park at Chain Lane Shopping Precinct has two charging points, with shops, eateries, and a pharmacy close by. The final new location, at Pavillions Way in Brackley, has a further two charging points.
As the infrastructure rollout amplifies across the UK, these deployments are showcasing the power of positive partnerships. Together, the CPO and the property investor are pooling resources to achieve a shared ambition of sustainable business success. The partnership promised to install 254 new ultra-rapid charge points from August 2024-25. Thanks to these new hubs, they are well on the way.
