Within the Shambotal belt of ANDIAMO EXPLORATION LIMITED's Haykota license, based on the extensive alluvial and bedrock artisanal workings in several areas and the presence of significant structures with extensive alteration and ubiquitous vein system at a regional scale and with associated sulphides in gabbro and felsic volcanic rocks, and possible stockworks developed in brittle fracture zones adjacent to mineralised shear zones the geological environment at Shambotai is conducive to potentially large economic shear hosted gold mineralised systems. #Gold #Eritrea

Rainy season now brings only a handful of artisanal miners to Shambotai, as it coincides with the main planting season. But back in the peak of 2010, we estimated there were over 1,000 at Shambotai alone, which indicates the rich potential of the area. #Gold #Eritrea #Exploration
Exploring Shambotai, Jawkeray, and Esh has revealed extensive artisanal mining zones. At Shambotai alone, we counted over 800 interconnected pits reaching depths of up to 12 meters! Gold is primarily concentrated between 8-12 meters, with colluvial material layers 1-2 meters wide. The proximity of these deposits suggests we're right next to the source. At ANDIAMO EXPLORATION LIMITED, our focus extends beyond our VMS (volcanogenic massive sulfide) gold and copper targets. Our Shambotai Cluster presents exciting shear zone-related quartz vein-hosted gold targets. In the valleys around Shambotai, Jawkeray, Esh, and Awletti, we see extensive artisanal workings which point to significant quartz mineralization in the surrounding hills. At this stage, we’re evaluating the Shambotai Cluster as a lower-grade bulk tonnage opportunity, with potential for a large-scale project. #Gold #Copper #Exploration #Eritrea

When I was a geology undergrad I was told the best geologists see the most rocks and if you want to find an elephant you need to go to elephant country. At ANDIAMO EXPLORATION LIMITED we believe that’s right we are. The Bisha Mine has been in operation since 2011 with Nevsun selling its 60% stake to Zijin Mining in 2019 for $1.86bn. In 2023 it produced 117Kt Zinc and 18kt Copper and the next mine in the complex, the Asheli underground is only 11km north along the same exhalative trend as our Zone 18 target and only 20km north of Hoba where we drilled 7m at 1.87% Cu and 25m at 0.81% Cu. #Copper #Gold #Zinc #Eritrea #Mining
Zone 18 lies just 33km south of the Bisha Mine, 23km from the Harena open pit, and a mere 10.3km south of the new Ashelli underground, giving us prime access to all essential infrastructure for rapid development or as a potential satellite deposit to the Bisha Mine complex. #Copper #Gold #Eritrea #Mining
ANDIAMO EXPLORATION LIMITED’s Hoba target is one of over 40 VMS targets within our Haykota license, with 12 more geophysical targets lying immediately north. Mineralization extends east and west of Hoba (Z4 & Z4A) and Z3 zones, while detailed mapping of Zones 5, 10, 10A, 11, 11A, 11B, 19, and 20 reveals promising similarities to Hoba, warranting further exploration. #Copper #Gold #Eritrea #VMS
