Navigating EGO's with gaming teams is only a struggle if you allow it to be, meaning as a leader you have to set the tone for the GOAL, and create a environment where if you are all about yourself and not the team you will be let go period no if's ands or butts about it. In order to be successful opinions is always great to have and share and present respectfully, but if your ego is bigger than the team it self we will win WITHOUT YOU and we won't dwell on losing you either. We must deliver something great to the audience we serve and once we have that alignment we will succeed and over deliver with our team effort and greatness

Handling egos and different opinions is never easy. People are diverse and complicated. My thoughts: 1. Open, respectful and empathetic communication has to be encouraged both between team members and between leadership and the team. Every team member has their own struggles, we can always try to be understanding. Give constructive feedback. 2. Set the team's goals often and repeatedly and in front of the whole team. Game development is dynamic and to avoid the big Crunch at the end we have to constantly realign and synchronize what the priorities are right now. People can easily get lost in their work. 3. Train management on how to manage people and resolve conflicts. Conflicts require compromise. Make sure there isn't any favouritism.
