✨New Equipment Funded✨ We agreed £42,000 to fund a new grossing station in pathology at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. It will double the capacity of physical space needed to process samples as part of the cancer diagnostic pathway. Trustees are delighted to have been asked to fund this new piece of equipment, a first request from the pathology team but one which will have a huge impact on local cancer services. Dr Angus McGregor, medical director for clinical support services at SATH, said: “This new piece of kit will increase our capacity and capabilities to deliver high quality services. We’re working to new challenging turnaround targets so this will help with that.” Nigel Lee, director of strategy and partnerships at SATH, said: “I’d like to say a very big thank you to everyone at Lingen Davies, this is a fantastic facility for our staff to use.”

A great afternoon at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for the unveiling of their new ET 101-2 Grossing Station that was supplied and installed by Solmedia and was generously funded by Lingen Davies Cancer Fund a local cancer charity.
