Asociación Española de la Industria de Semiconductores - AESEMI, the Spanish semiconductor industry association, which represents companies in the Spanish semiconductor ecosystem, and which has a working group dedicated to #Neuromorphic and #AI Technologies, has prepared a dossier 📰dedicated to the upcoming neuromorphic AI wave 🌊, in which we are included as the only company located in the 📍Canary Islands. In ARQUIMEA Research Center, within the #Robotics 🤖 orbital, we have a research line in Neuromorphic vision focused on surveillance systems. In addition, all ARQUIMEA Research Center projects belong to the #QCIRCLE project co-funded by the European Research Executive Agency (REA)  for the creation of a center of excellence in the 🏝️ Canary Islands. Last week we received the visit in our facilities located in the 📍PCTT of several partners of the A-IQ Ready project in which ARQUIMEA Research Center, along with 49 other European institutions and companies🔝, participates. On this occasion, the researchers 👨🔬 who visited us were Johannes Wesseler from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg University (Germany) and Andrejs Cvetkovs and Rihards Novickis from the EDI - Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (Latvia). This meeting brought together components for quantum sensing that have been developed separately by several institutions 🤝 and our research center since its #Quantum orbital. The aim of the A -IQ Ready project is to anticipate and address global environmental problems, social inequality and future geopolitical changes and to increase Europe's competitiveness through technologies such as Artificial Intelligence🖥️, the Internet of Things, robotics 🤖 and biotechnology🧫. In this technological event organised by INtech Tenerife (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Tenerife), we were able to present to the attendees some of the projects 👩🔬👨🔬 that we carry out in our research center, as well as the QCIRCLE project co-funded by the European Research Executive Agency (REA). This 🗓️Friday and Saturday, together with our colleagues from Kaudal we will participate in the second edition of #HUBIntechTenerife, the innovation event of the year in Tenerife to be held at the 📍Hotel Mencey. This event organised by Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Tenerife aims to address issues of utmost relevance for all entities in relation to 📳 technology and innovation, specifically, digital transformation and sustainable development. On Friday 22nd our colleagues María Alba, researcher at Orbital Biotechnology and Tania Ortuño, Project Manager will present 🗣️ to the attendees the success stories of projects developed at the center such as Molefy Pharma, dedicated to the search for a cure for ALS and the Zen Biometrics project for the continuous non-invasive measurement of cortisol within the Investment Forum along with 6 other selected projects.
