Audiovisual from Spain is the umbrella brand created by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment to promote the Spanish audiovisual industry around the globe. As part of its multi-sectorial mission, ICEX Spain Trade and Investment has been promoting the internationalization of the audiovisual sector for many years. Audiovisual from Spain supports the export of audiovisual content and services, in particular by maintaining a constant presence on major markets, at festivals and networking events, as well of course as in international media. Created by ICEX to bring together Spanish companies in the film, television, animation, video games and extended reality content sectors, the Audiovisual from Spain umbrella brand seeks to promote talent and content within the sector internationally at major trade fairs around the world. Audiovisual from Spain supports the international promotion of the content and services offered by Spanish production and distribution companies by providing a range of promotional tools for Spanish content with the aim of promoting it abroad and making it known to buyers around the world. It helps them to attend key international events such as Marché du Film or MIPCOM, and attend other specialized events such as Cartoon Forum, Gamescom, MIFA, Immersiva Tech Week or Sunny Side of the Doc, and get involved with networking actions, which are now a staple on our calendar of activities each year. Within the framework of the Spanish Government's Plan "Spain, Audiovisual Hub of Europe" financed by the PRTR, which aims to boost national audiovisual production in the digital era and attract international investment and talent, ICEX is collaborating with several ministerial departments, involving other public administrations, and encouraging the initiative on the part of numerous private companies, in an overall effort to diversify the Spanish economy and contribute to the external positioning of the Spanish audiovisual industry and to attract investment.

🎮 Celebrating Art, Innovation, and Cultural Exchange Through Gaming We are thrilled to have kicked off the 'Present and Future of Video Games from Spain' exhibition at the stunning Art Now gallery in Raffles Hotel on Tuesday evening, and a big shout out to the attendees who joined us. This traveling exhibition, which made its way from Tokyo to Singapore, showcases the very best of Spain’s gaming industry—an amalgamation of art, storytelling, and technology in groundbreaking ways. The event brought together industry professionals, creatives, and gaming enthusiasts, offering an incredible platform for networking and cultural exchange. From engaging discussions on the future of gaming to exploring the compelling narratives and stunning visuals of Spain’s celebrated indie games like GRIS and Blasphemous II, this exhibition bridges art, technology, and storytelling like never before. We were especially honoured by the presence of Ambassador Mercedes Alonso Frayle, who officiated the exhibition opening with inspiring words that underscored the collaborative spirit and cultural ties that unite Spain and Singapore through gaming and innovation. 🎯 Why this matters: As Singapore continues to grow as a regional hub for gaming, exhibitions like this foster mutual inspiration and deeper cultural connections. By spotlighting the artistry of Spanish developers and embracing collaboration across borders, we’re pushing creative boundaries and celebrating what connects us through the universal language of gaming. In this sequence, Berta Prieto and Karla Sofía Gascón lead a haunting corridor scene, amplified by the presence of 24 double dancers—a striking visual of mirrored movements ✨ The art department masterfully designed the corridor set, creating an atmosphere where reality blurs with illusion. Meanwhile, the hair and makeup team crafted 24 identical wigs, transforming the dancers into uncanny reflections of Berta and Karla 🎭 Captured with precision by an A-CAM on a SteadyCam, every step and turn was choreographed to perfection, revealing the seamless collaboration of dancers, actors, and crew.
