This Friday 8th March, our gallery will host the finissage of "May My Eyes", the first solo show of Lola Zoido in Madrid, Spain. Lola Zoido (Badajoz, 1994) is an artist who explores the way we build our reality through digital processes. Graduated in Fine Arts from the Universidad de Sevilla and currently based in Madrid, Zoido’s practice focuses on both the virtual and the material result of image production. Her production combines a look from the analytical and the poetic on the relationships that arise at the intersection between the digital and the physical. Come and visit us! "May My Eyes" by Lola Zoido is the first solo show of the artist in Madrid, Spain "How do we remember things? I often look at my phone. Our current show "May My Eyes" by Lola Zoido is open. "I remembered a poem by Lana del Rey (Never to Heaven) where there is a phrase that says: May my eyes always stay with the level of the horizon, may they never look as high as the sky, to ask why. I liked how she talked about the direction of the gaze as if it was a compass searching for the truth.
