✅ La semana pasada realizamos una validación interna en formato híbrido del software desarrollado en el proyecto MagicA. 💊Durante el proyecto hemos desarrollado una herramienta para mejorar la trazabilidad y la integridad de la información generada durante el proceso de formulación de fórmulas magistrales en servicios de farmacia hospitalaria, en cumplimiento de los principios ALCOA+. 🖥️La validación se ha realizado siguiendo la metodología GAMP5 para Sistemas Computarizados, estándar global para el desarrollo de software en la industria farmacéutica⚕️   El proyecto MagicA (TED2021-12957B-10) está financiado por MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 y por la Unión Europea NextGenerationEU/PRTR ---- ✅Last week we performed an internal validation in hybrid format of the software developed in the MagicA project. 💊During the project we have developed a tool to improve the traceability and integrity of the information generated during the formulation process of master formulas in hospital pharmacy services, in compliance with ALCOA+ principles. 🖥️The validation was performed following the GAMP5 methodology for Computerized Systems, a global standard for software development in the pharmaceutical industry⚕️   The MagicA project (TED2021-12957B-10) is funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR.

"The consortium has proven its ability to collaborate internally and externally in a complex, dynamic field, and their rather early career stage/younger age taken into consideration, this is particularly impressive and promising for their future careers and contribution to the field." (European Commission) The quote above is from the final review report on our project #CANCERLESS that I recieved a few days ago from the #EuropeanCommission. CANCERLESS was a Horizon 2020 financed project looking into #cancer #prevention of people experiencing #homelessness. While CANCERLESS was not my first "larger" grant, it was my first grant of a few million Euros and I felt enormous pressure. The process was not easy, not only did we start the project during #COVID #lockdowns, but also had communication and technical issues, issues with #recrutment, dealing with years of #mistrust in the communities...but we pulled it off. I am also very happy that the #EuropeanCommission also noted our "younger age" and felt that this was not a weakness but a show of promise for our future career development and contributions to our field. This is especially important within academia, where very often we are told to "wait our turn". Thank you CANCERLESS Consortium and everyone who supported us!
