🗞 Last week the Eyes Hearts Hands 👁❤️🖐 (EHHUR) consortium met online to share updates and discuss the progress of the project’s tasks. Our social researcher, Julio Morales Daza, attended the meeting in representation of Blue Synergy SL. 💡 EHHUR, which is part of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, aims for an inclusive 👭, aesthetically beautiful ✨, and sustainable 🌱 transformation of contextually heterogeneous city landscapes 🌆 in Europe. ✅ During the meeting, all the partners presented their work packages highlights and updates, and all the lighthouse leaders shared the progress on the execution of the EHHUR methodology in each of the locations; and we are thrilled to say that the urban renovations of the project are now under way and in full force 🚀. 👀 Stay tuned for more updates as the EHHUR project enters its final year! 🔵 Blue Synergy SL is thrilled to share that the VALORISH Project met in-person for the first time last week to check the progress in these first six months of work 🚀. 👥 Our General Manager, German Cavero Lopez, and our Social Researcher, Julio Morales Daza, attended the meeting, which was hosted by IDENER.AI in the beautiful city of Sevilla, Spain – 👏 big thanks to Igor De Las Heras Lopez and Marta Franco de Benito for the impecable organization. ✅ During this second General Assembly Meeting, the VALORISH partners presented the latest updates of the work packages and tasks that are already in motion and gave an overview of the work ahead and next steps. 🗞 Good news! 🌱 BIOSYSMO Project met again last month to assess the progress of the tasks, a summary of the work done, the milestones, and the next steps for the next 6 months of the project. 🔵 Blue Synergy SL was represented in this meeting by our Sustainability Engineer, Patricio Iván Cano Santana, who presented the LCA (environmental assessment), LCC/Net present value (economic assessment), and the Social LCA-Social Impact Assessment 📚. 🌱 About the project: BIOSYSMO aims at developing a computationally assisted framework for designing and optimizing synergistic biosystems combining the required pathways and traits to achieve the most efficient degradation and sequestration of pollutant mixtures. 🌾 These biosystems comprise combinations of bacteria, fungi and plants containing the natural or engineered pathways required for pollutants degradation, to take advantage of the high natural microbial diversity by screening samples from polluted sites and locations affected by diffuse pollution to identify natural microorganisms already present and able to metabolize the target pollutants. 📣 Great news!   POWERSAT 🛰, a revolutionary European project for the satellite industry that aims at developing technologies for powering satellites by a combination of solar and microwave energy harvesting, has kicked-off in Madrid, Spain. 🚀   This first project meeting, proudly organized by 🔵 Blue Synergy SL, was attended by all consortium partners: Thales, University College Cork, Institutul National De Cercetare-Dez voltare Pentru Microtehnologie, Uppsala University, Università Politecnica delle Marche, Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), FADO.io and Blue Synergy. 🔍 Recap: recently, SECRETed Project H2020 celebrated its second social awareness workshop, organized by 🔵 Blue Synergy SL with the collaboration of IDENER.AI, Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and Enterprise Europe Network SPAIN.
