The discussions will explore how Digital Twins can address the challenges of logistics ecosystems, particularly in urban environments, and the opportunities they bring to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and decision-making. The agenda features a keynote lecture by Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Prof. Cathy Wu and industrial applications of Digital Twins presented by APM Terminals, CIVILNOVA SOLUTIONS, EMT Madrid, and Mercamadrid, S.A.. The event will conclude with a round table discussion, with the participation of Oficina Digital del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, alongside representatives from academia, industry, and administration. 🎉 ¡Madrid honra el legado del maestro de los puentes! 🎉 El Puente de Ventas se transforma en un museo al aire libre para celebrar la extraordinaria carrera de Javier Manterola, doctor ingeniero de Caminos y catedrático de nuestra Escuela, fallecido en mayo de 2024. 🌉 🛠️ Esta rehabilitación, que incluyó la renovación de su estructura metálica y acabados, no solo garantiza la funcionalidad del puente, sino que lo convierte en un homenaje viviente a uno de los ingenieros españoles más influyentes de los últimos 50 años. 📍 Puentes, estadios, viaductos, y más.
