We recently carried out the handover of a substantial residential development in the Sant Joan de Despí neighbourhood of Barcelona.  From the outset in 2019 we provided Project Monitoring services to our client PATRIZIA SE for the construction of these four new buildings, laid out over two different plots. The total development, designed by two different architectural studios B67 Arquitectes and OJINAGA BARCELONA, comprises approximately 26,000 square meters and accommodates 208 apartments. The end of yet another year is almost upon us. It’s always a good time for reflection, assimilation and setting intentions for the year to come, both personally and collectively. Castiel has experienced many highs this year in terms of projects, client relationships and team evolution, but has also had to make tough decisions, which include saying goodbye to valued members of the team in order to reshape for the year to come.   This week we came together in Barcelona to have an honest discussion and share how we felt looking back at the year, looking ahead at the future, and at the unfortunate but necessary staff reductions that have been made, which we are all processing in our own way.  Afterwards, and with this in mind, we went on to have lunch at ‘Ca La Nuri’ in honour of the festive season.  Casiel has always promoted teamwork and supporting the development of teams, through our cycle of individual and team leadership coaching sessions. The objective is for everyone to recognise and develop their leadership competences individually and collectively. This improves our project management and leadership and allows us to have a business where leadership is provided for at all levels.  And so, we wanted to share some of the keywords that the team have highlighted to best express their personal development experiences in Castiel throughout the year of 2023.  We would also like to thank all the team members, clients, collaborators and professionals we have worked with this year. Thank you Arabella Hospitality SE for celebrating in such style and showing appreciation to the team involved in making this landmark project reality.
