😯 Hypnotic machining 😯 ✍🏼 Eccentric turning is based on the combination of three movements: the rotation of the workpiece, the circular movement of the tool and the feed in Z. This is a process commonly used for the mass production of crankshafts which, due to its complexity, requires specialised machinery. 💢 This complexity relies on the fact that the axis of rotation of the workpiece does not coincide with the axis of the area to be machined, which means that the workpiece and the machining are not coaxial.
