From the Cosmic Research team, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄🎆 This past year has been filled with thrill and excitement on our part, as we have become the first Spanish team to compete in the Spaceport America Cup, the most prestigious rocketry competition, with our rocket Lucid. The team will always cherish this experience and the lessons it has taught us. We are eagerly looking ahead to a new year filled with many more challenges and excitement. Our sights are set on building upon the foundations we’ve laid, striving for greater heights, and keep improving as we take on new challenges, which we will be disclosing during the new year. Cosmic Research es una asociación estudiantil sin ánimo de lucro de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) en Tarrasa, España, dedicada al desarrollo de cohetes suborbitales de bajo coste para aplicaciones pacíficas. En marzo de 2017, lanzamos Resnik, el cohete que ha llegado a más altura jamás lanzado por estudiantes en España hasta la fecha. Tenemos amplia experiencia en el desarrollo y testeo de motores cohete sólidos, concretamente con Nebula-I y Nebula-III. Ahora estamos a punto de hacer historia con Bondar, el cohete más ambicioso jamás desarrollado por estudiantes en España. Bondar es un cohete estratosférico, supersónico, monoetapa, de combustible sólido y pasivamente estabilizado por aletas, de 2.8 m de largo y 35 kg de peso, que pretende alcanzar una altitud récord de 9 km. Será lanzado desde El Arenosillo, España, en mayo de 2021. Desde su fundación, hemos lanzado más de 30 cohetes y 100 mini-satélties. También somos proveedores de servicio de lanzamiento para las competiciones CanSat en España. Estamos abiertos a patrocinios.
