✨ Check Out Our Poster! Hey, do you like the proposed poster for the EADO Congress? We’re excited to present our findings and showcase the capabilities of Deviskan. Take a look and let us know what you think! Our highlights are: 🩺 What is Deviskan? Deviskan is an innovative device, which using robotics is capable of providing total body images and dermoscopy-like images (in fact, based on our study our images are better than a standard dermoscope). 📊 Study Insights: Participants: +300 patients involving three prestigious Spanish institutions: Hospital Clínic, Diagnosis Dermatologica, and Hospital de Figueres. Images Collected: Over 10,000 dermoscopic images analyzed by independent dermatologists. Quality Comparison: Deviskan achieved a mean score of 9.84 for image quality compared to 9.44 using traditional methods. Efficiency: Deviskan reduced the mean imaging time to 450 seconds, compared to 606 seconds for manual methods. 🏆 Conclusion: Deviskan not only matches the high quality of traditional dermoscopy but also improves time efficiency, making it a game-changer in skin diagnostics!

Currently, medical practice to early detect #melanoma in high-risk patients is whole body examination using total body photography and digital dermoscopy, which requires 30-45 minutes of a trained technician or #dermatologist plus multiple devices. Time-consuming is a major drawback, which may discourage its spread use in dermatological departments. #Deviskan shows that using #AI (Artificial Intelligence) and robotics is possible to capture high quality dermoscopic images while creating a body-map of skin lesions without wasting personnel time. This has the potential to enhance access of thousands of patients to complete body examination and digital follow-up while providing a huge amount of valuable real data for further studies at almost no cost.

#Melanoma is the deadliest skin cancer. Is a type of skin cancer that begins when #melanocytes (the cells that give skin its tan or brown color) begin to grow out of control. #Cancer starts when cells in the body begin to grow out of control. Representing 95% of all skin cancer’s deaths, since 1970’s the incidence has increased 360%, leading to one person dying of melanoma every hour in Europe.
