The value of a network grows exponentially as more people join, and gathering is a great way of reminding ourselves of that value. This week, we gathered for the European Space Agency - ESA’s GDA Industry Engagement Co-location Day 2024, which helps strengthen our sense of community, and enables us to join efforts to drive meaningful change. The shift to deforestation-free products is one of the largest ones we've seen in European regulation of industry and commerce, and likely one of the central factors that will influence business strategy over the coming years. Over the past months, the EarthPulse team participated in a very interesting project with EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme that uses #satellite data to ensure that commodities like #coffee sold in the #EU are not linked to #deforestation. 🌍💡 En 2023, las energías #renovables alcanzaron un hito en España, generando un ahorro récord de 9.575 millones de euros en el sistema eléctrico. Más allá del ahorro, evitaron la importación de 25 millones de toneladas de petróleo, con un impacto positivo de 15.622 millones de euros en la economía.
