Energy Aware Solutions S.L. (EAS) is proud to be part of the consortium led by Atos to deliver MN5 supercomputer to Barcelona Supercomputing Center. MN5 will have a peak performance of 314 PFlops and its power consumption has to fit into 13MW. Therefore, managing and reducing energy is very important. To achieve this goal, MN5 will use direct water cooling to reduce its power consumption by minimizing the PUE. To control and reduce the effective power consumed by the applications and the full system, EAS will instal and tune EAR on both the compute and accelerated nodes. EAS is looking forward to make MN5 as energy efficient as possible with EAR and direct water cooling.
