🚨Call for papers on advanced electric propulsion concepts❗ We seek experimental, numerical, and theoretical submissions for the special issue "Alternative Electric Propulsion Configurations" of the Journal of Electric Propulsion. 📍 Co-edited by professors Mario Merino Martínez and Justin Little ⏰ Deadline January 31st, 2025 More infomation in the post below 👇 Looking forward to everyone's submission! #CallForPapers #SpecialIssue #ElectricPropulsion
To all those working on advanced electric propulsion concepts, Prof. Mario Merino Martínez and myself encourage you to submit your work to a special issue of the Journal of Electric Propulsion that is focused on "Alternative Electric Propulsion Configurations." Much of the ongoing research on electric propulsion aims at identifying new and disruptive device configurations, which could surpass traditional Hall effect thrusters and gridded ion thrusters in terms of operational flexibility, simplicity, durability, scalability to low or high power, or other performance figures. Most of these novel technologies are still nascent or in the process of characterization and development, and their operation mechanisms are subject of active investigation. These efforts are multidisciplinary in their nature, joining ideation with modeling, simulation, and testing. This special issue will feature some of the recent advances in all these fronts. Submissions are thus sought from the community on novel EP configurations. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2025. Experimental, numerical, and theoretical submissions will be considered.
