FersiSolar is an Engineering and Consulting company, that services solar thermal installations, that need different technical solutions for industrial heat with renewable energy sources. FersiSolar was born after a long professional career of its founders. The objective is to make all this experience available to Asset Owners, Investment Funds and Financial Institutions. We rely on four main pillars: * O&M Solar Field advice services to CSP plants. * Engineering and consulting for solar thermal power plants. * Steam as a Service: Solutions for the supply of steam from renewable sources as a service. * Technology provider for Parabolic Trough and Linear Fresnel.

    CSP Solar: 24/7 Power is Now a Reality! 👌 ☀️ 🫢 Great news for renewable energy enthusiasts! A recent study published in Scientific Reports has shown that a hybrid solar power plant can achieve continuous, reliable electricity generation (1 MWe) all year round This innovative design combines advanced solar technology with nanofluids and an energy backup system for maximum efficiency and reliability. Here's the breakdown: ✅Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) uses mirrors or lenses to focus sunlight, generating heat that's converted into electricity. ☀️➡️⚡️ ✅The study simulated a hybrid plant using parabolic trough collectors (PTC) and linear Fresnel reflectors (LFR) to create steam for electricity generation. ✅Nanofluids (aluminum oxide in this case) were used to enhance the performance of the solar collectors. ✅An energy storage system (molten salt) provided backup power during nighttime and cloudy conditions. ☁️➡️ The results are impressive ✅Consistent 1 MWe power generation throughout the year. ✅Peak turbine inlet temperature of 418.13 °C. ✅Overall Rankine cycle efficiency reaching 21.25%. ✅Effective use of PTC and LFR for superheated steam production. What does this mean? 🤔 -This research paves the way for highly efficient and reliable solar power plants. Nanofluids significantly improve CSP systems, enabling large-scale electricity generation. ⚛️ -The hybrid design with optimized tilt angles maximizes energy absorption and output. ☀️ -Energy storage systems enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness for continuous operation. -This model can be adapted to various locations, offering a robust renewable energy source for homes and businesses.     Had an incredible visit to CSP Shams Abu Dhabi! ☀️ We were blown away by the project, and the expertise and commitment from Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company). Some figures of the project:  1- 100MWp Capacity 2- Parabolic Trough  3- 210 GWh yearly output 4-LCOE USD/kWh (2020): $ 0.27 A big shoutout to Salim Sofiane Khelifa and Renjith Chathayil for their warm welcome and insightful discussions.
