👉 Have you ever heard about the Fondation Synergie Renouvelable?
This charitable fund of the French renewable energy sector is dedicated to supporting energy access projects in developing countries. To date, it has funded over 185 projects across 40 countries, benefiting 1.6 million people.
Recently and thanks to the support of Finergreen, the Foundation launched the “biogas altiplano” project in Guatemala, aimed at improving the social, nutritional and economic living conditions of Maya communities, by installing communal bio-digesters. These systems produce biogas for cooking and biol (organic fertilizer), and offer multiple benefits:
✅ Reduced reliance on wood and gas;
✅ Increased crop yields with organic fertilizer;
✅ New income opportunities from selling boil as a fertilizer.
At Finergreen, we have been a long-standing partner of Synergie Renouvelable with Damien Ricordeau, Chairman, belonging to the Foundation’s Board since 2017, and Alain Renaud, CEO, member of the steering committee.
Beyond our strategic involvement, we actively contribute through fundraising initiatives, such as the Foot Solaire tournament organized with Manita, and the annual dinner of the Foundation.
A huge thank you to Synergie Renouvelable for their ongoing trust and dedication!
