This past Saturday, 32,212 medical🧑⚕️👨⚕️ students took the most important exam of their lives—the MIR 📄 —marking the most crucial step toward choosing their residency. "We should eat like our grandparents, who are doing great health-wise." If we did, we’d be much closer to healthy and sustainable eating 🌍. Looking at consumption data in Europe, we can see that in the early 1960s: 🥩 Meat consumption was two times lower than it is today (in Spain 5x times lower). 🫘 Legumes and tubers were consumed 25% and 40% more than today. 🌾 Cereal consumption was 20% higher. In the end, the foundation of our grandparents’ diet was vegetables, legumes, cereals, fruits, and nuts. Meat was present, but it was more of a treat. Interestingly, this dietary pattern aligns with what science identifies as the healthiest way to eat: one that prioritises plant-based foods🌱. Yes, this is just a meme. Antonio👴🏻 doesn't need to walk 10km, but many people like Antonio do. It's essential to make products with positive impact🌱 more and more accessesible to everyone. Without options there's no freedom💛. Our team is working hard (very hard) every day to make it happen ASAP. They've asked me to tell all of you (especially the ones living in villages and little towns) to demand these options. If the interest is there, they'll bring them to you, if not they will always answer us with a "no one asked here". Remember, you have more power than you think✌️
