The first day of our International Board of Directors meeting is underway in Málaga, chaired by IASP President Lena Miranda. This annual gathering plays a key part in shaping the strategic direction of our association for the year ahead. Our board is made up of leaders from 12 different countries — Brazil, Canada, China, France, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, and United Arab Emirates — strengthening our ongoing commitment to maintaining a truly global perspective. Today, the IASP headquarters received a visit from IASP Latin America Division President Adriana Ferreira de Faria.   Aside from her role as IASP regional division president, she also is the CEO of tecnoPARQ UFV (Technology Park of Viçosa) in Brazil. She discussed upcoming events and IASP regional and global activities for the year ahead with our CEO Ebba Lund and visited Málaga TechPark | Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía. Last month, we asked our members whether their innovation spaces hold ISO certifications. The responses provide valuable insight into ISO certification trends in innovation ecosystems: 🔹64.3% of respondents do not currently hold an ISO certification but are interested in getting certified. 🔹21.4% shared they do not have any current ISO certification plans. 🔹Less than 15% are already certified.
