🌱 Collaboration for Nature-Based Solutions: A Successful Workshop 🌱 As part of the #NATALIE project, #ICATALIST facilitated the first workshop in La Laguna for the Natural Assurance Business Canvas (NABC). Last week, we had the privilege of bringing together key stakeholders, including representatives from the San Cristóbal de La Laguna City Council, University of La Laguna, Aguatec, and Canaragua, to advance the implementation of an urban wetland designed to mitigate flood risks in the area. 💡 During the workshop: ✅ We gathered valuable insights. ✅ Mapped out key benefits and beneficiaries. ✅ Drafted implementation plans. ✅ Explored innovative financing solutions. This experience highlights the power of interdisciplinary collaboration to address local challenges with sustainable approaches. 🙌 Thank you to all participants for your dedication, ideas, and teamwork. 🗓 Today, our colleague Sara Ros Cardoso will participate in the #COP29 in the event 🌍 “Sport for climate action: pick up the ball to act for climate change. 💡Youth, Sports, and Sustainability: Building a Responsible Future”. The objective in this event is to raise awareness and promote greener sports with sustainable practices by showcasing two initiatives led by two football clubs to mobilise citizens around climate action and the clarification of the Sports institutions role.
