A stroke is a cardiovascular disorder characterized by disrupted blood flow to the brain, often caused by a cerebral blood vessel blockage or rupture, which can result in brain damage ⚡ People diagnosed with #atrialfibrillation (AF) are five times more likely to suffer a stroke than the general population, accounting for 15% of all strokes 🧠 For the past three years, we’ve been part of the #H2020MAESTRIA Consortium, an innovative EU-funded project under #Horizon2020 Programme with a €14M grant.
