We will never forget the night of 29 October Many of us spent the first days of this catastrophe alone, uninformed and incommunicado. Unable to contact our loved ones, we wandered in an end-of-the-world scenario, unable to comprehend the devastation we were witnessing. With no electricity and no water, the nights were black holes of sleeplessness in the damp and mud. The truth is that we didn't have time to write about what happened. At that time it was not important to write on social media about what happened in our village and other localities of the Valencian community. But now, a week later, it is starting to be important; the level of destruction of infrastructures will take months and years to recover. Now is the time to show what has happened in order to receive adequate help. We are talking about a broken social and business fabric and a broken community, broken in two, and we have to clean up this situation for the good of all. LZF, as always, stands with the people of Chiva, the Valencian community and businesses everywhere suffering from the effects of these terrible floods Nunca olvidaremos la noche del 29 de octubre Muchos de nosotros pasamos los primeros días de esta catástrofe solos, desinformados e incomunicados. Incapaces de contactar con nuestros seres queridos, deambulábamos en un escenario de fin del mundo, incapaces de comprender la devastación de la que éramos testigos. Sin electricidad ni agua, las noches eran agujeros negros de insomnio en la humedad y el barro. La verdad es que no tuvimos tiempo de escribir sobre lo ocurrido. En aquel momento no era importante escribir en las redes era solo importante salvarse y los de mas alrededor. Pero ahora, una semana después, empieza a ser importante; el nivel de destrucción de las infraestructuras tardará meses y años en recuperarse. Ahora es el momento de mostrar lo que ha pasado para recibir la ayuda adecuada. Estamos hablando de un tejido social y empresarial roto y de una comunidad rota, partida en dos, y tenemos que sanear esta situación por el bien de todos.
