We have successfully completed a comprehensive on-site inspection of 14 FCCU expansion joints at a major refinery in the east of Europe. This operation, highlights MACOGA’s commitment to ensuring the highest performance and reliability of expansion joints in demanding industrial applications.   Key Highlights of the Inspection   - Thorough Evaluations: Inspections were performed under both hot and cold conditions to assess the performance of the Expansion Joints in real-time and shutdown scenarios. - Critical Findings: Issues such as solid waste buildup, damaged insulation, and aging components were identified, with recommendations for maintenance, replacement, and improvements. - Advanced Techniques: Visual assessments, dimensional measurements, pressure tests, interplay pressure test, and thermal imaging were used to ensure a precise evaluation. Technical Report & Guidance   MACOGA issues a detailed inspection report that will assist plant personnel in:   - Understanding the types and functions of expansion joints. - Identifying failure mechanisms, condition monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques. - Providing guidance on maintenance, repair, and replacement decisions. - Determining if new expansion joints or revamping are required. - Recommending design features for new or replacement expansion joints. - Offering best practices for handling, storage, installation, and inspection.   This inspection not only reinforces the operational safety and efficiency of the Refinery but also demonstrates MACOGA’s expertise in providing tailored solutions for complex industrial challenges.   More information https://lnkd.in/d-AsXtvp

We have successfully completed the fabrication of a significant number of high-tech Expansion Joints for the North London Heat and Power Project. Our on-site team has successfully completed the assembly of a large Pressure Balanced Expansion Joint at the Rivenhall Integrated Waste Management Facility in Essex, UK.   Due to its exceptional size, the expansion joint was delivered in sections and meticulously assembled on-site by our team of specialists.
