📅 Busy week for the Manufacturing4All project! Between strategic meetings and the successful Future Skills Forum, important steps were taken on the road to industrial digital transformation.   🔹 Day 16 | Visit to the European Parliament and Transnational Project Meeting. The visit focused on understanding the operation of the camera and the rest of the European institutions from the hemicycle of the European Parliament. Otherwise, during this meeting, the partners shared progress in the development of the project and discussed the next steps to exploit the results and find sinergies with other projects.    🔹 Day 17 | Future Skills Forum: Challenges and Opportunities in the Digital Age. Finnova and the Manufacturing4All project organized this forum at the European Economic and Social Committee, where key topics on how digital tools are redefining the future of work in the industrial sector were addressed. Lars De Nul - European Commission, and other experts highlighted the importance of sustainability and resilience as key pillars for the renewal of European industry. 💫 With all of that, a year and a half project is about to come to an end, with an exciting journey towards a more ethical and inclusive digital transformation in Europe. Along this period, we developed and promoted materials and events that foster accessible and personalized digital learning. Our initiatives aim to tackle depopulation issues in various regions by engaging young unemployed individuals and encouraging their active participation in the digital economy. 📊 Today we bring you some data collected during our workshop 📊 We asked participants which Industry 4.0 technologies they’re most interested in learning about or working with. Here’s what they said: IoT (Internet of Things): 25% AI (Artificial Intelligence): 25% Big Data & Analysis: 25% AR/VR (Augmented & Virtual Reality): 17% 3D Printing: 8% It’s clear IoT, AI, and Big Data are the big hitters! Following its launch and presentation, we are eager to share the different sections of the Best Practices Guide in Europe on Education in Digital Competences for the Transformation to Industry 4.0!  ✍️ To start with, let's dissect the guide to understand all its sections and their purposes. 🙌 Today, we would like to assess the Introduction, which addresses the overview of industry 4.0 and its impact on employment, the imperative of digital skills in this industry and the state of those skills in the EU. 🤖 Industry 4.0 marks a new era where digital technologies converge, transforming industrial production and employment. These technologies enhance efficiency and productivity but also displace routine jobs, necessitating a shift towards new roles requiring skills in data analytics, machine learning, and digital system management. 🎯  This guide has been done in order to support the application of new technologies such as smart factories, IoT, AI or big data in the manufacturing industry.
