Last week, the Meridia team gathered for our annual offsite in the Aran Valley, where we enjoyed a fantastic few days of winter activities. Beyond the slopes, this offsite was an invaluable opportunity to connect outside the office, fostering new dynamics, strengthening our bond as a team, and reconnecting with nature.   At Meridia, we believe that strong relationships and a cohesive team culture are key to long-term success. Spending time together in a different setting helps us collaborate better and brings fresh energy to our work.   A big thank you to everyone who made this offsite a great experience!

Hotel Molina Lario, an asset of the Meridia V fund, was featured in the year-end newsletter of the Foro Empresas Socialmente Responsables de Málaga. The newsletter highlighted the #ESG Day hosted at the hotel, a special event dedicated to engaging all employees in #sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. We are pleased to share more about Meridia’s latest hospitality project: the transformation of the former Hotel Presidente in Cala Portinatx, Ibiza.   Acquired in May 2024, this property marks a key milestone in our strategy to create long-term value through transformative asset management. The hotel, previously a 3-star property, will be repositioned as a 5-star lifestyle destination with c. 225 keys, catering to the growing demand for upscale tourism on the island.   This video highlights the vision behind the project and how it aligns with our broader approach to unlocking potential in the hospitality sector.

We are pleased to announce that we completed the acquisition of a prime residential plot in Palma de Mallorca. The plot spans over 10,000 sqm with a buildability of 48,200 sqm, ideally located near Palma’s historic city centre. We structured the deal as a partnership with Spanish fund manager MedCapital. Palma’s living sector presents a rare opportunity, due to scarcity of ready-to-develop land combined with robust demand.   This investment reflects our commitment to sustainable and high-quality developments and marks Meridia V’s fourth transaction and the first in the living sector, solidifying the Fund as a diversified value-add platform targeting key sectors.
