On the closing of the 20th of March at the #WINDEUROPE Bilbao 2024, the Cluster de Energía | Basque Energy Cluster has "sponsored" the #INTEGRIA project event where Jesús M. Busturia has attempted to explain its features: "will generate a single comprehensive model consisting of several digital models based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) of elements of the structure (transition piece, TP), the mooring system, the evacuation and power supply elements, the access system or the hydraulic and mechanical systems for the control of the floating wind turbine". Nautilus Floating Solutions acts as coordinator and among 12 other companies collaborate with the aim of researching structural integrity in floating wind through models based on AI. This project is funded by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government (HAZITEK 2023 Programme) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). https://lnkd.in/dh657aBz

#INTEGRIA is led by Nautilus Floating Solutions and involves the participation of 11 Basque companies: Alerion , CoreMarine, DITREL INDUSTRIAL S.L., ERREKA, GLUAL ENERGY, HINE GROUP, Ibermática, INNOMAT COATINGS SL, KERA - COAT, LAULAGUN BEARINGS and NAVACEL PROCESS INDUSTRIES SA . Three technology centres are also taking part: Ceit Centro Tecnológico, CIDETEC and TECNALIA Research & Innovation. The acronym for INTEGRIA PROJECT is, "Investigation of structural INTEGRITY in floating wind turbines using Artificial Intelligence-based models". Its goal is the generation of a single integral model formed by several digital models based on: an Artificial Intelligence (AI) of structural elements, the anchoring system, the evacuation and power supply elements, the access system or the hydraulic and mechanical systems for the control of the wind turbine. These models provide the necessary information for the detection and prevention of failures, fatigue, degradation, etc., allowing the construction of decision-making algorithms for the Operation and Maintenance of floating offshore wind farms, contributing to extending its service life.
