Today is International Childhood Cancer Day—a powerful reminder that kids battling cancer deserve better treatments. At nen, we are committed to helping children with cancer manage their pain, but pain relief is only part of the equation. These kids need better, faster, and more effective treatments. That’s why policies like the Give Kids a Chance Act are so critical. This bill will: ✅ Reauthorize the Pediatric Voucher Program to accelerate childhood cancer drug development ✅ Ensure drug combinations are tested in kids, giving them the best shot at a cure ✅ Strengthen the Orphan Drug Act, driving innovation for rare pediatric cancers ✅ Hold companies accountable for completing pediatric studies In 2024, this bill had bipartisan support and was even included in the end-of-year funding bill—until it was suddenly dropped. We can’t let that happen again.
