We are proud to share that we have concluded the first batch of the Correction Coil Feeder Ring Rail System, a support structure used for lifting and positioning tools in the clean area of the tokamak pit at ITER (International Fusion Energy Organization). This first batch has been delivered to ITER Organization’s headquarters in Saint Paul lez Durance, for further testing to be conducted by IO. These tests will finally validate the design of the tool and allow for potential improvements to be implemented in the second and final batch. Our thanks to IO for your trust in our company and the opportunity to do our tiny bit on the way to new energy!

A very special girder prototype and the dummy magnets have been manufactured by Nortemecanica and delivered to its final destination: the storage ring of a french Synchrotron, one of our main customers. Factory and on-site acceptance tests need to be rigorously followed, because of very tight fabrication tolerances. Factory Acceptance Test carried out with excellent production quality.
