We love this partnership because it was one of the success stories building, testing, and providing services and data to build LLMs (for a low resourced language like Catalan and also Spanish and English) with #translation capabilities. Pangeanic has been able to achieve a competitive tech offering in #LLM #translation leveraging its own resources – we are completely self-funded, with a bunch of national and European R&D grants. https://bit.ly/4fRQKbG and https://bit.ly/4fRQKsc The NMT document translation platform + private panel ECO 2019) gave way to the fine-tuned ECO LLM (https://bit.ly/3Z7K2bQ) in 2023. It proved our abilities in a bunch of languages for LLM translation, including cultural adaptation. ECO LLM is open to the public. Gathering experience, we have opted for a different (and greener!) approach to full fine-tuning, letting users leverage their data with their own tmx /csv files (EFE and BYD Use Cases). We’re low key when it comes to presentations, that’s true, but realistic about the technology and equally efficient.
