🤖¡Avancemos hacia una IA ética en la animación europea! 🗓️ Del 26 al 28 de noviembre de 2024 participamos en Animar_BCN (European Animation Convention), donde tuvimos la oportunidad de debatir sobre la IA en el sector. Desde Animation in Europe recomiendan un enfoque centrado en el ser humano para la integración de la inteligencia artificial en la industria de la animación. ➡️ Para hacerlo posible, el grupo emplaza a la creación de una guía de buenas prácticas que garantice un uso legal, ético y sostenible de la IA en el sector. También solicitan un mejor acceso a formación y expertos en IA para que los profesionales puedan desarrollar nuevas habilidades alineadas con los objetivos creativos y productivos de la animación, así como un marco regulatorio estable que permita la protección de los derechos de autor de creadores y productores. 📲 Si formas parte de la industria de la animación, ¡únete a la conversación y trabajemos juntos por un futuro donde la IA respete la propiedad intelectual y enriquezca la animación! --------------------------- 🤖 Let's move towards ethical AI in European animation! 🗓️ From 26-28 November 2024 we participated in @Animar_BCN (European Animation Convention), where we had the opportunity to discuss AI in the field. Animation in Europe recommends a human-centred approach to the integration of artificial intelligence in the animation industry. ➡️ To make this possible, the group calls for the creation of a best practice guide to ensure the legal, ethical and sustainable use of AI in the industry. 🗣️ Ahir vam tenir el plaer de participar en una taula rodona organitzada pel @CLAC (Col·lectiu Lleidatà de l’Audiovisual i el Cinema) en el marc del festival Animac - Mostra de Cinema d'Animació de Catalunya, sota el títol “Com viure de l’animació a Lleida?”. Durant el panell hem conversat sobre l'estat de l'animació a Catalunya i Espanya, els reptes i les oportunitats, el teletreball, la intel·ligència artificial, el finançament de projectes, la relació entre escoles i sector professional i molts altres temes interessants. ➡️ La taula ha comptat amb les participacions d’Ivan Agenjo (CEO de Peekaboo), Anna Solanes (productora i directora stop-motion a I+G), Roger Teixiné Baradad (compositor i supervisor VFX, exalumne de la UdL) i Sergio Manceñido Osés (Supervisor d'animació i animador 3D, exalumne de la UdL), moderada pel periodista Eduard Molins Alentà. 🤝 Gràcies Carolina López Caballero per la invitació! Continuem aportant la nostra visió per millorar el sector de l’animació! --------------------------- 🗣️ Yesterday we had the pleasure of participating in a panel discussion organised by CLAC (Col·lectiu Lleidatà de l'Audiovisual i el Cinema) as part of the Animac festival, under the title "How to make a living from animation in Lleida?". During the panel we talked about the state of animation in Catalonia and Spain, challenges and opportunities, remote work, artificial intelligence, project funding, the relationship between schools and the professional field and many other interesting topics. ➡️ The panel included the participation of Iván Agenjo (CEO of Peekaboo), Anna Solanas (producer and stop-motion director at Y+G), Roger Teixiner (composer and VFX supervisor, UdL alumnus) and Sergio Manceñido (animation supervisor and 3D animator, UdL alumnus), moderated by journalist Eduard Molins. 🤝 Thank you Carolina López for the invitation! 🤩Desde Peekaboo Animation estamos muy emocionados de anunciaros que hemos cerrado acuerdos de coproducción internacional para la serie “Les Tres Bessones”, en concreto con la productora RAIN FROG Srl y la televisión RAI en Italia, y con el estudio Sardinha em Lata, Lda y la televisión RTP en Portugal. Estos socios se suman a los ya existentes Radiotelevisión Española, 3Cat Corporatiu y l’Institut Català d’Empreses Culturals (ICEC). 🆕La nueva adaptación es un reboot de la icónica serie de animación basada en los personajes creados por la ilustradora catalana Roser Capdevila. El proyecto incorpora nuevos diseños con un toque fresco y moderno, adaptado a la audiencia actual, pero manteniendo el espíritu de los míticos personajes. Las historias reflejan valores como la diversidad, la inclusión, la positividad, el respeto y el empoderamiento natural de las niñas, siempre en el marco de la comedia. 📺Se espera que la producción arranque en otoño de 2025 y que el estreno de la primera temporada se haga a principios de 2027, coincidiendo con el 30º aniversario de la primera emisión en la televisión catalana de la serie clásica. ✨¡Prepárate para redescubrir la magia de Les Tres Bessones! --------------------------- 🤩 From Peekaboo Animation we are thrilled to announce that we have closed international co-production deals for the series ‘The Triplets’, concretely with production house RainFrog and broadcaster RAI in Italy, as well as the studio Sardinha em Lata and broadcaster RTP in Portugal. These partners join the already existing commissioners RTVE and 3CAT, plus the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises (ICEC). 🆕 This new adaptation is a reboot of the iconic animated series based on the characters created by Catalan illustrator Roser Capdevila. The project incorporates new designs with a fresh and modern touch, adapted to a new audience, while maintaining the essence of the mythical characters. Y todos ellos tienen algo en común: en algún momento de su vida fueron niños normales, con sus virtudes y sus defectos. Pero superaron las adversidades para hacer cosas extraordinarias. Si ellos lo hicieron, ¡tú también puedes ser un héroe! ✏️En Peekaboo no solo hacemos animación, también hemos colaborado en ilustrar colecciones infantiles como “Mis Pequeños Héroes” de Shackleton Books, con más de 125 volúmenes creados.
