🌍 New scientific article!🔬 Our partners at the Universiteit van Amsterdam from the Noël Research Group have published a new study on the interaction of light with gas–liquid interfaces and its influence on #photon absorption in continuous–flow #photoreactors 💡💨 🔹 Key Findings: ✅ Introducing a gas phase in continuous-flow photoreactors can enhance photon absorption rather than hinder it. ✅ Small gas bubbles intensify light intensity in the liquid, improving reactor efficiency. ✅ Large bubbles cause some photon losses, but much less than expected. Given that light is a valuable ‘reagent’ in photochemical applications, this research opens new doors to optimizing photoreactor performance! 🚀♻️ 🔗 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/e_FcAQHQ
